DryRocket is much more than just a dehumidifier. 1. Automatic Phase Detection
Not every hour of drying is the same. In the initial phase, the plants release a lot of water quickly; later the process slows down.
DryRocket automatically recognizes which phase your plants are currently in. This is based on the dehumidification rate – i.e. how much water comes out of the plant and in what time. DryRocket therefore controls the drying process using a three-stage drying profile:
- Phase 1 – Mold prevention: In the first few hours, surface water in particular must be removed quickly to prevent mold.
- Phase 2 – Aroma drying: moisture is extracted more slowly and gently – for maximum terpene protection.
- Phase 3 – Equalization phase: Fine sanding of the residual moisture to prepare the material perfectly for storage.
2. Dynamic Climate Parameters
Day-night changes, seasons, heating and ventilation periods – temperature fluctuates. Because the VPD is temperature-dependent, a fixed humidity setpoint would lead to varying drying results.
DryRocket therefore continuously measures the ambient temperature and dynamically adjusts the humidity. The VPD therefore remains stable, even if the room gets warmer or cooler. The result: constant conditions – regardless of external temperature fluctuations.

(=Vapor Pressure Deficit) describes the relationship between temperature and humidity.
For example, 60 % RH at 18 °C is completely different from 60 % at 26 °C. The VPD is therefore the decisive factor for constant drying.
3. App notifications in the event of course deviations
If an irregularity does occur, it will be detected quickly. DryRocket will notify you via the app and highlight the required action. For example, if a fan runs continuously at full power, this indicates that the RocketFuel is saturated. The app will then guide you step by step with a checklist to identify and resolve the issue.


4. Automatic detection of the end of drying
DryRocket tracks the moisture curve over time and calculates the period required to reach the desired water release or transpiration. Once the determined level of water release is achieved, the system recognizes: drying complete. You’ll receive a push notification directly on your smartphone and can store your buds.
